Specific
Unique was not adapted from a regular education curriculum. It was designed from the
ground up for students with special needs. All of its activities and goals were created
with special learners in mind.
Unique also offers four separate grade bands. This allows you to teach age-appropriate
material regardless of the students prior abilities.

Most curriculum adaptations consist of a few books, and maybe a couple of CDs. This is great for a
few weeks until that material has been exhausted. Then what? With the Unique Learning

Standards
Requirements for special education teachers have changed drastically over the last few years.
